We are the UK’s only charity dedicated to training and supporting people to engage in effective and constructive conversations with their local politicians on climate and nature. Our unique approach enables people to have a say in environmental decision-making.
We train and provide ongoing support for people in how to use their power, not the subject areas they want to use their power for.
In an era where political discourse often feels polarised beyond repair, we champion respectful engagement where parties value each other’s viewpoints as the most effective way of achieving change.
Our non-partisan stance means we adapt our approach to individuals and communities' climate and political knowledge and, the climate and nature-related issues that matter to them. Led by communities, we often tackle interconnected social issues such as food poverty, health, travel and rising energy prices that can be improved through climate-focused solutions.
Tried and tested for more than ten years.
We have refined a model centred around building long-term relationships with politicians for maximum impact.
Using our experience of engaging representatives on climate change, our approach to influencing change focuses on relationship-building including communicating with empathy, finding common ground, conversational techniques and asking for effective action.
