June 3, 2025

Tuesday 3rd June - 1.30 - 2.30 pm -- Wednesday 4th June - 6.30 - 8.00 pm -- Monday 16th June - 6.30 - 8.00 pm

Want to help build a healthier, fairer, safer future for generations to come, but not sure where to start with engaging your MP?

Join us for a friendly, interactive session to help you feel confident and prepared to speak up for climate and nature at the Act Now, Change Forever Mass Lobby on 9th July.

This summer, thousands of people from all walks of life will head to Westminster to meet their MPs and call for the leadership we need to create a better tomorrow. Whether this is your first time talking to a politician or you just want a refresher, this workshop will give you the skills to make your voice count.

You’ll learn:

  • How to understand your MP’s interests and find common ground
  • How to invite your MP to meet you – and feel confident doing it
  • How to craft a clear, personal, and persuasive message rooted in what matters most to you
  • What to expect on the day, and how to make the most of your conversation
  • How to follow up and build lasting influence in your community

You’ll also hear inspiring stories from others who have spoken up for change — and meet fellow people across the UK who are passionate about creating a fairer, greener future.

About Hope for the Future

Hope for the Future is a climate and nature charity with a vision of UK communities and politicians working together to secure a healthy planet for all. To achieve that, we train and support citizens across the UK to develop constructive relationships with politicians, countering the ‘us and them’ narrative that gets in the way of meaningful democratic engagement and political progress. We have over ten years experience of building relationships between the climate movement and our elected representatives to achieve the transformative action we all need.
