Welcome your MP

The campaigning has come to a close, the battle buses put to rest. On Thursday 8th June the public made their way to local polling stations to cast their votes and now, MPs across the country will be settling into their roles. You can find out your constituency at www.theyworkforyou.com by typing in your postcode and who your new MP is on the BBC election results page.  It may be that your previous MP has been re-elected or you have someone new. Either way, why not welcome your MP by writing a letter of congratulation and asking them to put action on climate change as a campaign priority for the next five years? This lets them know early on that you are someone who is likely to be in touch and is keen to establish a working relationship with them. The months following the election are a great opportunity to meet with them and discuss what you - their constituent - would like to see them focus on in their time as your MP.

If you are meeting with your MP and would like support, please get in touch! We'd also love to hear from you if you have written to your new MP. Find our contact details here
